The stage was set for a festive musical afternoon and the much-anticipated return of Magic Radio’s Magic of Christmas event at the iconic London Palladium. Held in central London on Sunday 16th November, the sparkling occasion was hosted by Gaby Roslin, Gok Wan and Harriet Scott.

This stellar line-up of artists delivered a memorable afternoon of their most successful and much-loved hits, complemented by a selection of festive Christmas numbers. With strong support from a live band, the show was one that couldn’t help but put a smile on your face.

Kicking off with award winning singer Matt Goss. Raring to go with a jazzed-up version of I Owe You Nothing brought the crowd to their feet and ending with When Will I Be Famous. Next on, popstar Louise with an on-point version of Arms Around the World and Let’s Go Round Again.

Suitably followed by Tunde, vocalist from the Lighthouse Family with classic songs Lifted and High got the appreciative London Palladium crowd singing high at the top of their lungs. Also singing a beautiful version of Joni Michell’s River Christmas number.

Up next BRIT Award winner James Morrison putting on a delightful vocal and guitar performance with hits You Give Me Something, a version of East 17’s Stay Another Day and Broken Strings duetting with his daughter Elsie. This was followed by Pixie Lott’s Cry Me Out after recently returning to the stage following the birth of her second child.

Penultimate performance was 80’s icon Tony Hadley, entertaining with highly impressive crisp vocals of True and Gold. And finally ending with Scottish superstar Marti Pellow. Singing With A Little Help From My Friends and the highly anticipated and must-sing Love Is All Around brought the show to a showstopping end.

Overall, the event delivered a joyful, sparkling afternoon that kicked off the Christmas spirit. With a well-rounded line-up, a great supporting band and engaging hosts, the show delighted an appreciative crowd and created a warm, festive atmosphere.
