Gozer Goodspeed

Not what I would expect from Gozer Goodspeed – but stunning nevertheless.

It’s a brilliantly laid out psychedelic Blues ramble. Paranoid in part, loaded with fascinating imagery, utterly hypnotic.

I am minded of a time, many years back, when a new single would come out and a group of us would play it time and again, looking deeply into the meaning of the lyrics and marvelling in the spaced out nature of the playing.
I’ve listened to the single around a dozen times and, while I am completely captured by it, I cannot work out what the heck it is about. I found myself mesmerized by it and even started looking over my shoulder.

Wonderful to find a single that not only makes you think, but also challenges your answers.

One of the best listens this year.
