Bywater Call

The prowess that Bywater Call exhibit is breath-taking. From nowhere, these Canadian rockers have released a couple of singles that both intrigued me and left me slack jawed in admiration. Definitely one of the best ‘new’ bands I have heard for a couple of years.
On this single Meghan Parnell’s lead vocals are passionate and full on, Dave Barnes weighs in with powerful guitar while Bruce McCarty’s drums drive the song.
The song has an incredible expansive feel spreading from just Parnell’s vocals in the centre and filling out to bring the whole band into the screaming finale.



This is another one that sounds like it will be great live, and I can’t wait to see them in October.
