The Commoners

The Commoners hail from Toronto, the latest in a long and powerful line of rockers from Canada.

They are rockers at their core, full of snotty arrogance, massive riffs, some great guitar lines and rhythms to drive you mad. One of the most exciting singles I’ve heard for ages.
Everything about this single is high energy, maximum speed and drive.
Chris Medhurst delivers some edgy vocals alongside Ross Hayes Citrillo’s guitar lines while Ben Spiller’s pounding bass and Adam Cannon’s heavy rhythmic drumming pushes the band along like a steam train.



The last band I heard that excited me like this was Robert Jon & The Wreck – yes that good.
