An innocuous new single to mark the release of his greatest hits collection, That Old Pair of Jeans unfortunately sounds more like Dad's ironed 501s than your beloved Diesels.

Sure, there's nothing here to offend anyone, but then there's none of the cheeky energy that propelled Fatboy to platinum status and had thousands pogo-ing on Brighton Beach.

Ultimately it's up to The Plump DJ's, with their great rework of Everybody Needs a 303 to remind us what it should all be about - screeching acid, chunky snares, big breakdowns and even bigger build-ups.
