A snatch from the Californian emo forefathers' seventh album, Miss Murder is a terrifically-produced, slinky sing-a-long with instant appeal. Sounding at times a little like Depeche Mode stomping along to Marilyn Manson in silver platform boots, its snappy repetitive nature dictates a short shelf life – you'll probably kill it with death by continuous playback.
Distorted lead vocals from Davey Havok briefly corrupt the flow of this safe track and strong backing vocals chanted by AFI's hardcore fanbase allows the old skool their contribution to a single – and album ‘December Underground' – that will likely entice a new breed of worship. October tour dates have just been announced. Book early to avoid disappointment.
