Finally, the much anticipated debut track from the Chilis' new double album Stadium Arcadium, released on May 8th. Despite an initial worry that the opening bars were reminiscent of a certain Blur track, Dani... immediately returns to RHCP form that we know and love. Produced by maestro Rick Rubin, the song is typical Kiedis at his lyrical rhyme-filled best. (Lookin' down the barrel of a hot metal .45 / Just another way to survive...) Frusciante's solo is suitably varied and as tightly effected as you would expect. Fans will not be disappointed.
