This past summers’ Mixtape Tour was a huge success, as the shows saw some of the most popular Pop and Rap acts of the 80’s and 90’s, still very capable of selling out arenas and driving longtime fans into a frenzy.

While the New Kids on the Block headlined The Mixtape Tour, there were several other acts on the bill (Salt N’ Pepa, Debbie Gibson, and Naughty By Nature), but it was Tiffany who stole the show. Showcasing her amazing vocal range and charisma, Tiffanys appearance for only a few songs during The Mixtape Tour, left many audience members wanting to hear more from her. Fortunately, Tiffany is now in the midst of a solo tour that is currently playing North America and she took time out of her schedule to speak about the tour and her life.

Tiffany's most recent album, “Pieces of Me” (her 10th studio album), was released late last year and is a very ambitious and exemplary disc. The album is more of a Rock effort, and Tiffany, who has always been a big fan of Rock (and if you’ve ever heard her cover of "Sweet Child O’ Mine” you will not be surprised) stated that her influences in the genre include “Stevie Nicks,” whose influence has played a big part in her life, (Tiffany added that her love for Nicks goes back to Fleetwood Mac and the "Rumours" era) and added that she also grew up listening too, “Led Zeppelin," "Van Halen,” and more recent acts as “the Foo Fighters.”

Tiffany appears to be channeling her inner Nicks on the title track from, “Pieces of Me,” which has a distinctive guitar riff and a raw sound that is reminiscent of early 80’s Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers (which was around the time Nicks and Petty worked together on the hit, “Stop Draggin My Heart Around").

While Tiffany is known for her voice, she is quite a talented songwriter. Her most recent single from the album, “Waste of Time,” (penned by her) is a deeply personal track with introspective lyrics as, “But I ask where is the justice, when I feel flawed in every way.” She says that songwriting is her “therapy” and it helps her deal with life on the road and in general.

Not content to just tour and record, she also has launched the “Pieces of Me Podcast” where she shares a myriad of things from touring and another passion of hers, cooking. While Tiffany could someday be the first Rock Star turned chef ever, she stated that her favorite type of food to prepare is "Mediterranean" and "Arabic" cuisine. Tiffany was also a celebrity guest on the “Rachael vs. Guy: Celebrity Cook-Off” TV show on the Food Network.

While Tiffany is embracing her Rock side, she is not abandoning her Top 40 days and even re-recorded her first mega-smash earlier this year with, "I Think We're Alone Now," (2019 version), which presently has over 1.5 million hits on YouTube.
