The South Bank Sky Arts Awards 2019, now in its 23rd year, took place on Sunday 7th July at the Savoy Hotel.

Hosted by Melvyn Bragg, this year's awards recognised winners in categories including dance, theatre, pop, dance, opera, literature, comedy, visual art, film, classical music and TV drama.

Bragg said: "Once again the Arts defy the gravity of the current situation in the UK and deliver a magnificence of talent that is truly world-class."
