Grandaddy

Grandaddy release ‘Elevate Myself' the first single off their new album ‘Just Like The Fambly Cat'.
It's a major disappointment to me sounding like a throwaway song from ‘The Cars' songbook. The production sounds so dated to me with a horrible drum effect and a too steady safe typical MOR American sound. The lyrics too I find twee and irritating and if they want to joke, well the BloodHound Gang do it better. I just hope it's a blip from the album as I enjoyed their last LP but this does nothing to elevate me.
