Kubb release their second single, ‘Remain' from their debut album ‘Mother' on May 1st. The group led by Harry Collier are going for the jugular this year, set to play many festivals this summer and on tour at the moment.
It's the opener from the album, a good solid piece of work based on a melodic guitar riff and deicate subtle swings very representative of their sure but sensitive sound. Vocals sound very like Morten Harket of ‘A-Ha' in my view and the whole sound is in the ‘Embrace' mould but there is plenty of scope for personal definition maybe adventuring to rather upset the balance of their sound with rather dirtier rock'n'roll which I'm sure Harry has got in him. Radio friendly, it should notch up another top 20 hit. Looking forward to see them live this summer for sure.
