Brighton's newest export are swiftly being touted as the band that will knock the crowns off the Arctic Monkeys' heads as Indie band de jour. The latest single to be released from debut album Inside In/Inside Out, Naive, is available on Virgin Records on March 27.
Luke Pritchard's lot are once again showing their ability at delivering a poppy rendition in the Indie/Rock genre not a million miles away from Athlete or Blind Melon in parts. The band has been likened to Supergrass meets the early Kinks and on Naive the band's strengths musically are demonstrated clearly on the instrumental version of Naive. If the lyrics are somewhat immature, the music certainly more than makes up for it. They will only get better - we reckon there is a lot more to come from this band.
