The new EP from the Wirral - entitled EP starts with a nice punchy vocal on 'Celine' - the notes achieved by Nik Glover's higher end of his range demonstrate an almost falsetto style ability. They have a vaguely similar sound at times to Elvis Costello.
'World of Fashion' is something a little softer - it has a nice simple little bluesy riff that builds slowly for the duration of the track - one by one introducing the bass, drums and eventually the vocal. Not a million miles away from some early Stones or Aerosmith.

'Threebie' is a short little ditty that sounds like a soundtrack to a fairground scene.
Overall the band have a similar sound to Weezer, or The Coral - and are young and ambitious, if a little bit pretentious, as demonstrated by their rhetoric that introduces their press release.

There is a lot of potential here - might be one to watch.
