Music News caught up with Cory Hanson and Evan Burrows from Wand before their recent gig at Glasgow's Garage G2.



Wand, from LA, California have released 4 albums in as many years. Their brand of Psychedelic Rock has grown and morphed over that short period of time and is something that's satisfyingly hard to pigeonhole.

Corey's dream like vocals drift over gargantuan barely tameable fuzz riffs on their first two albums, Ganglion Reef and the classic 2nd record, Golem. Follow up 1000 Days saw them mellow slightly, and new offering Plum, sees them broadening their horizons and numbers with the addition of 2 new members taking them to a five piece.

We had a chat with Corey and Evan about the tour, the new album and much more, before they blew us away with an ear drum perforating set with material from all four albums, satisfying a Wand hungry bunch of Glaswegians.
