The Black Eyed Peas

Ooh those cheeky Peas, building a funk hip-hop track around the unmistakeable guitar jabber of Dick Dale's Miserlou (brought back to mass attention in Tarantino's Pulp Fiction). The Black Eyed gang give it their usual accessible rap clarity with Fergie given a late, sexy vocal line. Apparently Will bought a compilation CD in Brazil thinking it was one thing but turned out to be another.. “The Dick Dale song was on it. At first I was angry – this isn't what I wanted to buy but then I thought, this song is hot. We should do a song like this.” It will no doubt shift the required units and get a shed load of airplay – but not on my stereo. Pump It - be better to Bin It!
