Test Icicles

An introduction involving cicadas and a phone call sets the scene for a slightly comical tune; it's grime time.

‘Boa Vs Python' (Statik's Stay Connected Mix) has a chaotic feel, although this could be seen as a plus. This track is packed sound effects, MC battles and people screaming. Although there are probably only three of them, you get the feeling there are a crew of about a hundred MCs on rotation behind the mic, all queueing up for their chance to rinse it. The second track, ‘Catch It' (Jitsets Cat Shit Mix feat. Ruff Sqwad) has a similar fierce feel, but is less all over the place.

Although this is bound to be popular in the grime scene, it's perhaps not as accessible to a wider audience.
