How important is music to you/why: It’s very important because it keeps me motivated and happy. Besides it surely is my first love. When I am lonely, music is my only friend. And as Bob Marley used to say – When music hits you, you feel no pain. Most of the time when words fail, music speaks!

Can you share with us something curious/funny which happened to you when performing: Hiccups when singing in a musical!

From the current *GTP finalists, who would you choose to duet with/why: That is a difficult answer and I need to be very diplomatic! Many of the performers who are taking part in this year’s festival are new. So I would rather choose to sing with all of them together as one whole group. GTP festivals were always about friendships rather than cliques or individualism. All the contestants are very talented for sure. Wish them the best of luck.

A typical weekday for you from morning to night: Well! For me it’s difficult to say since I work on a 4 shift basis – Day, Night, Rest, Off. Besides I don’t really bother to plan my day unless I have important things to do.

How do you like to spend your weekends: The answer for this question is the same as the question above!

Can you forecast who will win the festival this year: Anyone can be the winner because we are all chosen from 105 applicants. So I guess it’s going to be a tough one for sure.

L-Ghanja Tal Poplu champions our national language. Do you think Malta should send a GTP winner to sing in Maltese at Eurovision one year and why/why not: I think each and every festival has it’s identity. The GTP festival has always been a maltese influence in music and lyrics. In my opinion we should never mix things like festivals and competitions. Regarding the language, it is always a sort of a taboo when speaking about whether we shall sing in maltese or in another language. So I most definitely will not comment on it. All I know is that I am in a country that has the privilage to possess it’s own language.

Your musical influences: Most definitely I have to thank Mark Tonna in helping me to believe in myself and carry on even though going through hard times.
Your inspiration in life: My life was all inspired by many individuals and also super heroes, especially Superman! But the only real superman I was inspired was definitely Karol Woytyla – Pope John Paul 2. Strong character with a strong belief of succeeding in life.

A message to the our readers?: If you feel like giving up, just look back on how far you are already. The harder the struggle the more glorious the triumph. Hard work + Dreams + Dedication = SUCCESS
