Favourite Maltese and International Eurovision Song: Maltese - 'Desire' and 'L-Imhabba' , International - 'Euphoria'
Favourite Movie of all time: Sound of Music
Favourite holiday destination and why?: All the countries that I have visited so far have had something particular. However it has always been a dream to visit the U.S.
Eurovision is a very important event for the Maltese people, yet other countries take it with a pinch of salt? What are your views?: Malta, compared to other countries, has a very limite market with regards to offers very little opportunity for artists to showcase their talent. The Eurovision, being a festival of such a high caliber provides the artists with the opportunity to exhibit their talent both locally and internationally.
Besides yourself, who is your favourite act to win Malta Eurovision 2015? : All the artist who have made it through so far have a very professional product with a very high standard, so really any one of us can be chosen as the winner on the final night.
Describe your feeling on ‘Xarabank’ TV show when you realized you had been chosen as one of the Finalists?: When I was on 'Xarabank' I felt very nervous. When I finally found out that I had made it through I felt ecstatic.
Rumours had it that Ira Losco would submit a song this year!! Do you think established artists like Ira, Joseph Calleja, Ivan Grech (Winter Moods) and others should consider taking part in Malta Eurovision and why/why not?: Personally, I don't see why not. The Eurovision is a festival where people from all over the world can celebrate music. I believe that everyone should be able to perform during this event including established artist if their product is suitable for the Eurovision.
Can you tell us of any curious/funny incidents you may have had whilst performing?: Once I had a gig at an open-air event, and there were no steps for me to get on stage, so I had to climb onto it. On the night I was wearing a pencil skirt, and as soon as I climbed on stage, my zip tore off. Luckily, I managed to get hold of it before anyone could notice, but I had to perform the whole gig holding my skirt.
Why should the Maltese public vote for your song to represent Malta in 2015?: My song is an inspirational message, to which anyone can relate. It can motivate anyone who is facing any difficulty to overcome it.
