Kula Shaker have announced K-Reinkarnate, a complete analogue re-recording celebrating 30 years since their debut album K topped the charts.

Set for release on 5th February 2027 via Strange F.O.L.K. Records, the project sees the original lineup—Crispian Mills, Alonza Bevan, Paul Winter-Hart, and Jay Darlington—revisiting their seminal songs live to 2-inch tape at Middle Farm Studios. Today, the band shared their newly recorded single 'Govinda' alongside details of an extensive European and UK tour.

Rather than a nostalgic replica, K-Reinkarnate captures how the album has naturally evolved across three decades of live performance. The sessions also allowed the group to expand the original running order with restored tracks like 'Shower Your Love', 'Hush', and 'Drop in the Sea'. Most remarkably, the band unearthed 'She’s So Free', an unfinished 1996 master tape, laying down new instrumentation in 2026 so their present selves play directly alongside their past incarnation.

To mark the release, Kula Shaker will embark on a headline tour across Europe and the UK throughout February and March 2027, starting in Luxembourg and concluding with a show at London’s Troxy.
