London based duo Majik create music that weaves heart-felt lyrics over atmospheric sounds and broken beats, placing sentiment at the core of its captivating soundscape.
A chance house share in Leeds introduced producer and guitarist Jamie, and singer-songwriter Marcus. After some early recordings, bedroom jams and acoustic sets, they departed Leeds to explore personal interests – with Marcus leaving for Ibiza and Jamie heading South. With a few short months behind them, a phone call across the water sparked new thinking. A relocation to London followed, where the duo reunited and Majik was born with maturity in both sides of their sound.
Since releasing the Double A side single ‘It’s Alright’ / Save Me’ in September 2015 the duo has amounted over 3 million streams on Spotify. The latest single ‘Closer’ “explores the gritty side of love – the under currents of ones subconscious mind, as well as the scars of life surfacing through connection with another.”
Flawes
2016 has already seen FLAWES release their second EP, ‘CTRL’ , with support from The 405, The Independent, Sunday Brunch, Spotify, NME, Record of The Day and Music Week. The band have already played multiple shows including selling out their debut headline at The Sebright Arms (London). Looking forward, FLAWES will play at a host of festivals this year with more music on the horizon.
Beginning in 2015, FLAWES' early career took off explosively. Debut single 'Don't Wait For Me' is continuing to amass thousands of streams weekly and has had support from across the board with a BBC Introducing / Radio 1 playlist, Line of Best Fit, Notion, Clash and New York Times online mentions and it's debut entry on the Spotify UK Viral Chart at #8. FLAWES spent the end of November supporting Ella Eyre on her UK tour.

Only Girl Is South East Londoner Ellen Murphy who has been quietly honing her own brand of soulful, understated pop, soaring with R&B infused melodies, since her 2014 debut Feel It.
She released her second single Remains in 2015, premiering on The Fadar & playing her second sold out headline show at St Pancras Old Church, London.
Only Girl is currently working on her new EP, set for release in early 2016.

A love of classic songwriters such as Leonard Cohen & Joni Mitchell is evidently at the core of Sonia Stein’s sound. Accompanied by nothing but a piano, Sonia has been crafting melodic pop hooks since she was 15 years old, a sound she has recently brought to fruition working with producer Liam Howe (Lana Del Rey, Ellie Goulding, FKA Twigs) in London. The result showcases Sonia’s classic background, while giving a nod to her more contemporary influences, such as Regina Spektor & Fiona Apple.
