It’s been a successful year so far for Liverpool born country sensation Nathan Carter. Following the release of his 2012 album Wagon Wheel, which charted at number 3 in the Irish Album Chart, he now celebrates his latest album “Stayin Up All Night’, which climbed the Irish Album Charts straight to the number 1 spot, beating artists like Beyoncé and Drake. He now embarks on his UK tour this May.
Nathan Carter is comfortably one of the most successful live acts across the Irish music scene and is fast becoming a household name, with his fine performances of heart-felt, upbeat and infectious pop ballads, with a crowd favourite being the mega hit song 'Wagon Wheel'.
Growing up in a house where Country and Western music filled the air, Nathan was exposed to classic songs of Johnny Cash, Don Williams and Dolly Parton. From the tender age of 4 years old, not only learning to play guitar, piano and accordion, which plays a vital part in his live show, Nathan quickly became head chorister in the Liverpool Boys choir where he toured the world and even performed in front of the Pope in Rome.
Along with his six man band, the country superstar kicks off his tour at the Guildford G Live on May 23rd. Following this, Carter is set to bring his show to the prestigious London Palladium Theatre May 29th. With the show already sold out at Hayes Beck Theatre show on May 26th, this is a tour not to be missed.
