Thanks to Ben & Jerry’s and their latest competition, The Moo Sessions, you and your band could win a slot at this summer’s coolest festival, Ben & Jerry’s Sundae On The Common 2009.
Over the past four years, Ben & Jerry’s Sundae On The Common has become a respected platform for breaking artists and previous years have seen the likes of Kate Nash, Florence and the Machine and the Noisettes take to the stage alongside established bands, such as Ash and The Charlatans. Ben & Jerry’s Sundae On The Common 2009 is no different and we can now exclusively reveal the first few bands to join this year’s line up:
Sat 25th July – I am Kloot, Marina and the Diamonds and Tommy Reilly
Sun 26th July – Camera Obscura, Red Light Company and The Answering Machine

In addition to this fantastic line up, Ben & Jerry’s Sundae On The Common 2009 sees the launch of The Moo Sessions on 8th May, which will give one lucky band the opportunity to play in front of a crowd of up to 15,000 people. The prize includes travel and accommodation for you and your band, plus 20 VIP tickets, so you can bring a whole herd of supporters with you. Not forgetting you’ll also be able to try all 18 Ben & Jerry’s flavours for free!
Entering couldn’t be simpler! Ben & Jerry’s knows how important it is to create the perfect mix, after all Cookie just wouldn’t work without Dough. So the ice cream duo want to know - ‘What are the key ingredients in your band?’

Ben & Jerry’s Sundae On The Common returns for the fifth and finest year on the 25th & 26th July! The fantastic family fete-style festival on Clapham Common will be filled with dollops of free Ben & Jerry’s ice cream, great music, social activism and lots of fairground style attractions.
Whilst enjoying tub thumping moosic from fantastic bands, guests will be able to tuck into the sweet taste of Ben & Jerry’s new dairyingly delicious Fairtrade flavour, Chocolate Macadamia, along with 18 more flavours, past, present and future.
Ben & Jerry’s has been making great ice cream in the nicest possible way for over 30 years.
