Thornborough Music Festival is one of the most unusual and amazing music
festivals in the north of England. The festival prides itself on having more
bands, the cheapest gate price, the best festival site and in support of the
best causes, than any other festival in the north of Britain.
Dedicated to supported northern talent, Thornborough Music festival is a
three day music festival the runs from July 4th to 6th 2008. Last year just
short of 100 bands played the festival.
This year the line up includes:

Killer, Toyshelf, That Defensive Arm, The Plus, High Vixens, The Mosaics,
Premium Trucks, Mean Poppa Lean, Firesuite, Lotus Circle, Bluesville,

Around a 1,000 people are expected to attend Thornborough Music festival,
meaning that there will be a band for every ten people attending! At £30.00
per head (under tens get in free), each band is costing just pennies to see;
now that has to be a bargain.
The festival also includes a film festival that includes Manga, and
audio-visual arts, a children’s area and street theatre.
The music festival also aims this year to raise money for Oxfam (who will be
getting all profits from alcohol sales) and also to raise awareness for
local Autism campaign groups.
