British Queen of Blues Elkie Brooks has announced a landmark headline show at London’s Royal Albert Hall alongside seven new UK dates for her Long Farewell Tour. Almost seven decades into her legendary career, the iconic vocalist will return to the prestigious venue on 11 May 2027, marking almost exactly 50 years since her first sold-out headline performance there following the release of her smash hit single "Pearl’s A Singer."
Accompanied by her full live band and the capital’s spectacular Engines Orchestra, conducted by Phil Meadows, the 81-year-old star will deliver a career-spanning set blending blues, rock, and jazz. The setlist will feature classic hits including "Lilac Wine," "Fool (If You Think It's Over)," "No More The Fool," and "Don't Cry Out Loud," alongside fresh material from her highly anticipated 21st studio album due in 2027.
Having already sold over 60,000 tickets across the tour, Brooks has added new 2027 dates in Folkestone, Ipswich, Stockton-on-Tees, Halifax, Cardiff, Eastbourne, and Newcastle to meet overwhelming demand. Additionally, a new live album, Live In Concert - The Long Farewell Tour, arrives on CD this autumn.
Tickets for the Royal Albert Hall show go on general sale at 10:00 AM on Friday, 30 October 2026, with mailing list presales opening on Wednesday, 28 October. All other tour dates are on sale now.
