Based in London and originally from the Aosta Valley in the Italian Alps, SAMLOW releases his third single, "3 Minutes Away". The track hears him lean into bass-led Indie / Alt Rock, with driving riffs and an anthem-shaped chorus.
About ‘3 Minutes Away’

"3 Minutes Away" centres on the paradox of modern distance, the feeling of being connected while still apart. In SAMLOW’s framing, it sits in that fragile space between absence and presence, where someone can be only three minutes away yet still feel far off.

The single leans into his signature bass architecture and a killer riff, then opens into sweeping choruses. It was produced by Gareth Young at Cube Recording Studios, Cornwall, and co-written with Bnann Infadel.

The song carries a late-night drive feel, with the uncertain hope that someone is still waiting and the honest realisation that some journeys cannot be made alone. SAMLOW says it came to him after a gig, while waiting for an Uber in a Tesco car park in Addlestone.

Across these three singles, a quiet inspiration from Krzysztof Kieslowski’s Three Colours trilogy takes shape: white for the unbalanced obsession of "Magazine", red for the spirit of standing together in "Red Riot", and blue for the absence in "3 Minutes Away". This emotional palette lives in the artwork too, each cover reflecting the colour and mood of the song it carries.

"This song came to me late one night after a gig: dropped off by the band van at Tesco in Addlestone, waiting for my Uber. The place felt lonely, all the crowds had gone, and home felt like the only place I wanted to be." — SAMLOW

"Built on driving basslines, sharp-edged synths and choruses that linger like static in the air, the single is the sound of an artist who has spent years refining his identity before pressing play." — Mystic Sons

"Samlow’s ‘Red Riot’ is a masterclass in alt-rock intensity and melodic precision, immediately pulling listeners into its charged atmosphere. The track’s bass-driven foundation gives it a grounded weight, while the soaring, anthemic choruses create a sense of urgency and exhilaration. Every element, from the crisp production to the nuanced instrumentation, feels purposeful, building tension without ever overwhelming the listener. The blend of cinematic soundscapes and punchy, rhythmic drive showcases Samlow’s seasoned experience as a touring musician, delivering a single that is both emotionally resonant and sonically compelling." — Jammerzine

About SAMLOW
SAMLOW is the creative project of songwriter and bassist Sam Gino. He is based in London and originally from Italy, from the Aosta Valley, a small region in the Italian Alps.

He has built the project through three singles, following "Magazine" and "Red Riot" earlier in 2026. Those first two tracks drew support from UK and Italian press and radio, reached a combined estimated audience of over 4.9 million views, and gathered nearly 50,000 Spotify streams within weeks of release. They also picked up shout-outs from Duran Duran and Anna Ross, plus features on Italy’s RAI 3, CLASH, and iGuitar.

Before his solo work, he spent over a decade as a touring bassist across Europe, the UK, the US, and Australia. "3 Minutes Away" arrives as the next step in that run.
