The former P NATION artist and A&R Director returns with a five-track EP, out now through JJ Music Group and led by 'Money on My Mind (feat. HANSE)' and 'Tear is Nothing,' bringing ambition, vulnerability and the need for grace into focus.

Korean singer-songwriter and producer GK has released G.Race, his first EP in two years and second overall. The five-track project arrived on October 27, 2026, at 12:00 PM KST through JJ Music Group, following G.Round: Pre-Debut EP Album. It captures an artist still moving and still building, while becoming increasingly aware of what that momentum costs.

The title builds on the wordplay of G.Round, which combined Ground and G's Round. If that project introduced the ambition to create his own turn from the ground up, G.Race enters the period after the starting signal. Race represents the need to keep moving; Grace points to the people, opportunities and moments of perspective that make that movement possible.

Rather than presenting success as a finished image, the EP stays close to the middle of the process: financial pressure, responsibility, emotional exhaustion and the moments when encouragement itself can begin to feel like another demand. GK participated in the lyrics and composition of all five tracks and handled vocal direction and recording throughout, keeping the project closely tied to his own voice and working life.

Two lead tracks, two visual approaches

At the center of G.Race are its two lead tracks. 'Money on My Mind (feat. HANSE)' confronts the anxiety attached to money and responsibility: the sleeplessness, pressure and constant calculation that can sit behind ambition. HANSE joins GK on the track and contributes to both the lyrics and composition, bringing a second voice into that tension. Its accompanying video takes a typography-led approach, placing the song's words at the center of the visual presentation.

The second lead track, 'Tear is Nothing,' moves in a different emotional direction. Instead of asking someone to keep pushing, it gives permission to stop pretending to be fine. A full music video built around performance and choreography provides a physical, human counterpoint to the typography-led video for 'Money on My Mind.' Together, the two tracks capture the EP's central tension: the pressure to keep running and the need to acknowledge when the race becomes heavy.

The rest of the EP expands that emotional range. Alongside HANSE, G.Race features Yechan of OMEGA X and JinE, with contributions from longtime collaborator SINGKI and producers REDIC, Ruiz and ZEN. Across pop, hip-hop, R&B and bedroom-pop textures, the five songs remain anchored to GK's writing and production perspective.

From P NATION artist to A&R Director and founder
Before founding JJ Music Group, GK spent several years at P NATION, entering the company as an artist before moving into A&R and eventually serving as an A&R Director. His credits include A&R direction on PSY's ninth studio album and work on Jessi's 'ZOOM,' placing him on both sides of the artist-development process: making music himself while helping shape major releases for other performers.

That experience continues to shape his work as an artist, songwriter, producer, A&R executive and company founder. While pursuing his own recording career, he leads JJ Music Group, develops artists and projects, and coordinates the creative and business work behind each release. He is also studying at NYU Tisch School of the Arts' Clive Davis Institute of Recorded Music, continuing to build a career between Korea and the United States.

JJ Music Group works across music production, artist development, creative production and project management, with an emphasis on music IP that can grow beyond a single release. Its SOFA project is an original music platform built around changing artists and collaborations rather than a fixed group. The company is also developing cross-border collaboration frameworks with U.S.-based music and creative partners, building a foundation for ongoing releases and partnerships across markets.

That background gives G.Race its particular perspective. The money anxiety in 'Money on My Mind,' the exhaustion running through the EP and the reassurance at the center of 'Tear is Nothing' come from an artist carrying responsibility for his own music as well as the people and projects around him. The record is about continuing to move while being honest about what that movement demands.

With his first EP in two years, GK returns to that tension without trying to resolve it neatly. G.Race leaves room for both meanings of its title: the race that continues, and the grace found in the people, opportunities and moments of relief that make continuing possible.
