The XCERTS have officially announced a brand-new headline UK tour taking place across January and February, bringing their acclaimed sixth studio album, i think i want to go home now., directly to fans across the country.

Released via FLG Records, the new full-length record has earned widespread critical praise for its raw intent, stark honesty, and emotional depth. Written by all three band members together in a room for the first time since their early records and recorded by Larry Hibbitt at Beehive Studios, the album documents a challenging two-year period defined by personal loss, family illness, and life-changing transitions. Musically, it marks an exciting return to the urgent, scratchy, and unadorned power-pop sound of early releases like Scatterbrain and There Is Only You.

Reflecting on hitting the road, frontman Murray Macleod shared: “We purposefully wanted to give the album some breathing room for people to really digest the songs before we hit the road for our first headline run in support of the record. We’re going to dig deep into the back catalogue also and cover each album with intent.”

The headline run follows a wave of summer festival appearances, an intimate album playthrough at 2000 Trees, and upcoming arena support dates alongside Royal Blood in Brighton this December. The nine-date headline tour kicks off in Brighton at Patterns on 23 January, heading to Birmingham, Manchester, Newcastle, Glasgow, Aberdeen, Stirling, and London, before concluding at the Joiners in Southampton on 4 February.

Artist pre-sale tickets launch today, Wednesday 7 October at 10am BST, with general sales opening on Friday 9 October at 10am BST.
