British rhythm and blues institution Nine Below Zero have officially announced a major UK and European tour for 2027 to celebrate half a century of making music. Founded in South East London in 1977 by Dennis Greaves and Mark Feltham, the band will mark their golden anniversary with a series of special live dates featuring an array of high-profile guest collaborators.
Throughout the 2027 '59 Below Zero' tour, Greaves and Feltham will be joined on stage by a stellar line-up of special guests, including Jam bassist Bruce Foxton, fast-rising guitar talent Zac Schulze, blues pianist Ben Waters, legendary guitarist Robbie McIntosh, and long-standing collaborators Dr Feelgood. Alongside their full-band UK dates, the band will also venture across the Netherlands, France, Italy, Spain, and Scandinavia, while squeezing in a select run of intimate acoustic shows.
Reflecting on their remarkable journey, the group famously released their classic debut live album Live at the Marquee in 1980, followed by Don't Point Your Finger (1981) and the David Bailey-covered Third Degree (1982) on A&M Records. Over the decades, they have released more than 20 albums, toured alongside rock royalty like The Who and The Kinks, and made iconic TV appearances on The Old Grey Whistle Test, The South Bank Show, and cult comedy The Young Ones.
