Roskilde Festival has unveiled its explosive first wave of acts for 2027, setting the stage for a spectacular 55th edition. Northern Europe’s premier independent, non-profit gathering will transform the grounds just outside Copenhagen from 26 June to 3 July 2027. Leading the charge among the initial 18 acts are sonic visionary Tame Impala, legendary poet-rocker Patti Smith Quartet, avant-pop siren Caroline Polachek, country boundary-breaker Kacey Musgraves, and vibrant jazz innovators Ezra Collective.

Tame Impala’s headlining slot on the iconic Orange Stage marks a rare moment, standing as one of only a few European festival appearances for the Australian project next summer. Attendees can expect an otherworldly journey blending psychedelic rock, euphoric pop, and hypnotic rave energy. Beyond the massive headliners, the opening salvo features an eclectic mix of genres, including hyperpop pioneer Underscores, UK punk dynamos Lambrini Girls, actor-musician Suki Waterhouse, and Norwegian hip-hop titans Karpe embarking on their final-ever tour. Heavy hitters Neurosis, Drain, and Konvent bring fierce metal and punk energy, while Nu Jazz and G Jones B2B Eprom promise boundary-pushing electronic beats.

True to Roskilde’s deep-rooted ethos, the 2027 lineup highlights artists who leverage their cultural platforms to advocate for social change, equality, and representation. Bringing together 130,000 participants and 27,000 dedicated volunteers, the festival donates 100% of its profits to humanitarian, cultural, and youth-focused charities.

With almost 200 acts eventually completing the roster, tickets are available now via Tickster. Full festival passes for the entire eight-day celebration are priced at €355, two-day passes at €300, and single-day tickets at €205. Located under 30 minutes from central Copenhagen with direct train connections straight to the festival gates, the journey to Northern Europe's biggest musical landmark is entirely seamless. Fans are encouraged to lock in their tickets early to experience this massive celebration of community, activism, and cutting-edge sound.
