Corella have officially claimed the Number 1 spot on the UK Independent Breakers Chart with their second album, A Beautiful World To Lose. Released via FLG, the record secured top positioning following swift action by the Official Charts Company to correct an initial technical discrepancy. The triumph places the Manchester indie rock quartet proudly in the Top 5 of the Album Downloads, Record Store, and Independent Album Charts.

Reflecting on the milestone, frontman Joel Smith shared his excitement about achieving their first UK Number 1 as a band, dedicating the achievement to their loyal fans, family, and friends who have supported them from the beginning. He also extended respect to fellow northern band The Cheap Thrills, whose release was briefly miscredited in the top slot before the OCC resolved the issue. Fresh off an initial seven-date run where fans gave a rabid response to new tracks like Rewire, Jump Scare, and Lost A Friend, Corella are riding high on momentum.

Capitalizing on their chart-topping success, the band have announced their largest UK and Ireland headline tour to date for February 2027. The 13-date tour will see four best friends take their explosive live performance across major venues, kicking off in Ireland before hitting key stops across Scotland, England, and Wales.

Corella's February 2027 tour schedule includes performances at Dublin’s Academy Green Room on February 9th, Belfast’s Ulster Sports Club on February 10th, Glasgow’s St Luke’s on February 12th, and London’s Outernet on February 18th. The massive run culminates with a major hometown show at Manchester’s iconic Albert Hall on February 25th.

Tickets for the February 2027 headline tour go on pre-sale at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, September 30th, followed by general release at 10:00 AM on Friday, October 2nd. All tickets and further details are available via corellamusic.com.
