Singer-songwriter Jake Bugg has announced an intimate UK record store tour to celebrate the release of his seventh studio album, Alamo, arriving on 13 November 2026 via Thirty Tigers.
Fresh from a headline appearance at Nashville’s Centennial Park as part of Americana Fest, Bugg will kick off a 20-date in-store run starting at Circuit in Kingston on 8 November. The tour includes stops at Rough Trade East in London, Rough Trade Nottingham, and HMV location across the country, featuring acoustic performances, live Q&A sessions, and album signings.
Produced by multi-Grammy winners Jimmy Hogarth and Steve McKewan, the 11-track record sees the 32-year-old artist return to his folk and country roots. The album offers a raw and unguarded reflection on his personal evolution, navigating themes of love and loneliness with authentic acoustic arrangements.
Following the record store appearances, Bugg will launch an extensive stripped-back solo tour across the UK, Ireland, and Europe in early 2027. The UK and Irish leg opens at Manchester’s Albert Hall on Saturday, 6 February 2027, before visiting major venues including Dublin’s 3Olympia, Edinburgh’s Queen’s Hall, and a hometown show at Nottingham’s Royal Concert Hall. The tour concludes with two performances at London’s Union Chapel on 25 and 26 February.
Since emerging nearly 15 years ago with his triple-platinum, self-titled debut album that reached Number One on the UK Albums Chart, Bugg has built a reputation for his distinctive approach to roots rock and folk songwriting. Alamo marks his most personal project to date, focusing on stripped-down instrumentation and direct storytelling.
