The Shiiine On Weekender returns to Butlin’s Skegness from 19 to 21 March 2027, bringing three days and nights of indie, alternative, and dance music to the seaside resort. Delivering a full festival experience complete with proper accommodation, the event eliminates tents, mud, and long treks, offering festivalgoers their own bed at the end of every night.
Indie icons Babyshambles will make their highly anticipated Shiiine On debut as Saturday night headliners. Joining them on Saturday’s main stage are fellow debutants Gene, alongside festival favourites Ned’s Atomic Dustbin. Cast will headline Friday night in their first Skegness appearance, supported by Black Grape and Jim Bob, while Reverend & The Makers, The Futureheads, and The Rifles take over the Reds stage for an impressive evening of 2000s indie classics.
Northern Irish rockers Ash return on Sunday night to close out the weekend, with Starsailor and Sleeper completing the final main stage line-up. Across the three days, the festival will also feature live performances from Buzzcocks, The Selecter, The Sultans of Ping, EMF, Puressence, Dub Pistols, The Farm, Dubstar, Ozric Tentacles, Banco de Gaia, Senser, The Supernaturals, and China Drum.
Beyond the main stages, Tim Burgess will host a Sunday night closing party alongside Star Shaped, while the acoustic stage features stripped-back sets from The Bluetones and Chris Helme. The expanded dance lineup, Shiiine On: Rave On, features The Sabres of Paradise and The Orb, while Happy Mondays icon Bez hosts a day party alongside Steve Davis, James Atkin, and Kavus Torabi.
Comedian Rob Newman will headline the comedy stage, alongside Terry Christian bringing his live show My Word! to the site. The weekend also promises pool parties, club nights, exhibitions, Alan Leach’s Indie Quiz and Bingo, street food, and craft ale bars.
