Bryan Adams has announced his new studio album, How’s It Goin’, set for release on 6 November 2026 via BAD Records.
Described as a musical love letter to Canada, the project reflects on the landscapes, historical events, and figures that have defined the singer's home country. Blending elements of country, folk, and rock, the 12-track collection marks a stylistic departure for the Grammy-winning artist.
The concept originated while Adams was composing a piece for the documentary Canada’s Wild Eastern Edge. "The idea was simply to make a record about Canada," Adams explained. "It started with writing the song for the documentary Canada’s Wild Eastern Edge and after doing so much research, I was inspired to start writing more songs about Canada. Musically it took me somewhere a little different too, which made the whole thing exciting."
The tracklist explores notable Canadian history and cultural figures. Highlights include "Diesel & Dirt," "Iron Ribbon," "The Battle Of Lundy’s Lane," "51st State," and "The Ballad Of Terry Fox"—a tribute to the late humanitarian that will feature in the upcoming documentary Run Terry Run. Music videos for both "The Ballad Of Terry Fox" and "51st State" have been released alongside the album announcement.
The album will be available on standard CD and gatefold LP, alongside a special digital edition featuring the bonus track "Lake Ontario." A deluxe A4 hardback book edition will also be issued, containing the CD alongside archival imagery and lyrics detailing the background of each song.
