Sir Cliff Richard has announced the release of his 48th studio album, Only Number Ones, scheduled to land on 27 November 2026.
The announcement arrives 67 years after Cliff Richard and The Drifters secured their very first UK chart-topper with "Living Doll." Recorded in February, the 12-track collection sees the veteran performer cover a range of his personal favourite Number One singles spanning eight decades, ranging from classics by The Beatles, Elvis Presley, and Roy Orbison to Harry Styles’ 2017 hit "Sign of the Times."
Produced by Sam Hollander and Josh Edmondson, the album includes interpretations of "Spirit In The Sky," "Oh, Pretty Woman," "All I Have To Do Is Dream," "Return To Sender," "Rock Around The Clock," and a brand-new 2026 recording of "White Christmas."
"I suggested to Warner Music that I record an album of songs that made it to No. 1," Sir Cliff Richard shared. "Thank heavens they agreed! I listened to dozens of songs and chose 12 of my favourites. This record is my tribute to fabulous artists who had recorded wonderful tracks that achieved the number one position."
A Deluxe Edition release will accompany the main studio album, bringing together all 14 of Sir Cliff’s original UK Number One singles—including "Bachelor Boy," "The Young Ones," "Summer Holiday," "Congratulations," "We Don’t Talk Anymore," and his festive hits "Mistletoe and Wine," "Saviour's Day," and "The Millennium Prayer."
To mark the release and celebrate his upcoming 86th birthday, fans will also have the opportunity to attend an exclusive afternoon tea event alongside Sir Cliff on 15 October 2026 at the Intercontinental Hotel in Park Lane, London. Access to ticket sales for the birthday event will be made available to fans who pre-order any format of the new album through the singer's official online store.
Only Number Ones is available to pre-order now ahead of its worldwide release on 27 November 2026 via Warner Music.
