Supergrass have announced a major return to live performance with a headline UK tour confirmed for spring 2027. The celebrated Oxford outfit will embark on a nine-date run across April and May, bringing their legendary stage presence to venues in Newcastle, Glasgow, Leeds, Manchester, Nottingham, Birmingham, London, Bristol, and Portsmouth.
Reflecting on the upcoming dates, frontman Gaz Coombes shared his excitement about revisiting the group's extensive discography. He noted that while their previous live outings focused heavily on their iconic debut album I Should Coco, the 2027 shows will offer a broader dive into their catalogue. Fans can expect a mix of classic hits alongside lesser-played album tracks spanning their six studio releases.
Artist presale tickets launch today, Wednesday 2nd September, at 10am, followed by venue presales on Thursday 3rd September. General ticket sales open on Friday 4th September at 10am.
Formed in 1993, Supergrass quickly established themselves as one of the most dynamic and enduring acts in British rock. Their breakout single 'Caught By The Fuzz' earned critical acclaim, laying the groundwork for their seminal 1995 debut album I Should Coco, which topped the UK charts and achieved status as a multi-platinum success. Across their career, the band delivered six Top 10 albums and ten Top 20 singles, including enduring anthems like 'Alright', 'Richard III', 'Sun Hits The Sky', and 'Pumping On Your Stereo'.
The group consistently evolved beyond their early punk-pop roots, exploring more ambitious arrangements on albums such as In It For The Money, Supergrass, Life On Other Planets, Road To Rouen, and Diamond Hoo Ha. Recognized with both a BRIT Award and an Ivor Novello Award, Supergrass built a reputation as an unmatched live act before disbanding in 2010. Following a triumphant reunion in 2019 that saw them perform to sold-out crowds internationally, their upcoming 2027 tour promises another celebrated chapter for the band.
