Grammy Award-winning rock outfit OK Go have released Oh No (Extra Nice Edition) digitally and on vinyl via Capitol Records to mark the 21st anniversary of their breakthrough second album. The milestone arrives as the original 2005 record achieves official RIAA Gold certification, alongside the smash single Here It Goes Again reaching double-platinum status.
The expanded digital release packages rare B-sides, acoustic takes, and live recordings alongside the iconic original tracklist. Fresh additions to streaming services include the UK Surf Mix of Here It Goes Again, original track Down For The Count, and covers of The Cure's The Lovecats and The Beatles' Any Time At All. Fans can also stream acoustic renditions alongside live tracks captured at Soho iTunes, including A Million Ways and Do What You Want.
Physical formats accompanying the release include a classic black vinyl edition, a full-era CD collection, and an anniversary LP pressed on 180-gram brick red vinyl with alternative artwork.
The milestone coincides with the 20th anniversary of the legendary treadmill music video for Here It Goes Again. The self-choreographed clip became an internet phenomenon, racking up over 120 million views and establishing the band's signature approach to visual storytelling. Since then, OK Go have accumulated over a billion online views across projects featuring zero gravity, Rube Goldberg machines, and complex practical effects.
Reflecting on the album's initial success, frontman Damian Kulash noted how the record originally topped college charts before experiencing a second wave of mainstream success a year later following the viral explosion of the treadmill video. He described the moment as one that opened up an unusual and creatively fulfilling path across music and culture.
To support the anniversary release, the Los Angeles four-piece will embark on a series of live dates across North America and the UK later this autumn. The tour includes festival appearances at Shaky Knees and Oceans Calling, followed by British headline shows in Nottingham, Glasgow, Manchester, and London.
