Eduardo Basagaña, founder and CEO of EB Producciones, has addressed recent industry speculation surrounding a potential acquisition by global entertainment company Live Nation.

Responding to widespread touring circuit rumours, Basagaña clarified that while no formal acquisition offer has been presented by Live Nation or any other entity, the boutique agency remains fully committed to maintaining its independent operational path.

"It’s always positive when the industry takes notice of what you’re building," stated Basagaña regarding the acquisition speculation. "But we are in a very good place right now. EB Producciones is not for sale. My focus is to continue developing my own vision of entertainment and maintaining the global approach we have built into the company. We enjoy great relationships across the entire industry, including with Live Nation, and we have tremendous respect for what they do. But for me, it is important to preserve the vision, independence and entrepreneurial spirit that have brought us this far."

Founded as a boutique agency, EB Producciones has developed an international live events footprint spanning the United States, Latin America, Europe, and Asia. Under Basagaña's leadership, the company has managed and promoted live projects for major Latin and international pop acts, including Karol G, Mon Laferte, Aitana, Luis Fonsi, and Sofía Reyes.

The agency's live division continues to expand its global event properties. In addition to owning the all-female PWR Festival, EB Producciones recently finalized a three-year strategic partnership to launch Spain's LOS40 Primavera Pop festival across Latin America, commencing with an inaugural event in Argentina.

Basagaña confirmed that the company will maintain its current corporate structure while scaling its live music operations and artist touring partnerships organically.
