The seventh edition of Gilles Peterson’s We Out Here Festival concluded yesterday, marking its sixth consecutive sold-out year and welcoming its largest audience to date across 15 stages.
Organisers have confirmed that We Out Here 2027 will take place from 19 to 22 August 2027. Returning festivalgoers can access tickets starting Thursday, 27 August at 10am, with general early-bird tickets releasing on Tuesday, 8 September at 10am via the official website.
The 2026 event featured over 400 live acts and DJs spanning jazz, soul, electronic, house, hip-hop, and dub. Opening night performances included jazz-rap group Digable Planets, Tanzanian duo The Zawose Queens, and HVYWGHT with The Outlook Orchestra on the main stage, alongside sets from Actress and Jamz Supernova.
Friday’s main stage lineup showcased Mercury Prize nominee corto.alto, singer-songwriter Joy Crookes, and bassist Thundercat, while Nightmares On Wax and Kenny Dope performed across the electronic stages.
Saturday highlights included Brazilian composer Arthur Verocai performing with the Nu Civilisation Orchestra, followed by Chicago house figurehead Peven Everett. Poet Aja Monet and rapper Kofi Stone performed at the Lush Life stage, with Calibre headlining Rhythm Corner.
The festival closed on Sunday with main stage performances by Stereolab and Gary Bartz, alongside James K and Yazmin Lacey at Lush Life. A Rupture showcase featuring Bryan Gee, Mantra, Double-O, and dBridge took over The Grove, while producer Mad Professor performed at The Bowl. The festival concluded at the Rhythm Corner stage with an unannounced set from Four Tet alongside festival founder Gilles Peterson.
Beyond the musical lineup, the site hosted wellness programming at The Sanctuary, discussions in the Talks Tent, and dining options at the On Rotation restaurant.
Organisers encouraged attendees planning for the 2027 edition to utilise official coach and shuttle bus options to support the event’s environmental initiatives.
