BRIT Award-winning singer-songwriter Jorja Smith has been announced as the latest artist to join the line-up celebrating the 20th anniversary of London's The O2. Smith will perform at the venue on Saturday 17 July 2027, marking her first-ever headline appearance at the arena and her only UK arena show scheduled for 2027.
The performance forms part of a summer-long 2027 concert series honoring two decades of live entertainment at the 20,000-capacity venue. Smith joins a growing roster of confirmed headliners for the milestone series, which includes pop singer Maisie Peters on May 8, playback singer Shreya Ghoshal on June 4, and reggaeton artist Don Omar on July 5. Additional performers will be announced in the coming months.
Since releasing her debut single "Blue Lights," Smith has established herself through her soulful vocal style and lyricism, collaborating with artists such as Stormzy, Kendrick Lamar, Burna Boy, and Childish Gambino. Commenting on the announcement, Smith described performing as part of the venue's 20th anniversary celebrations as an honor and a special moment in her career.
Christian D’Acuna, Vice President of Programming at The O2, noted that the exclusive show represents a landmark event for both the venue and Smith's audience. Owned and operated by AEG, The O2 has hosted over 3,000 shows and welcomed more than 100 million visitors since opening in 2007. The 2027 anniversary series also marks 20 years of partnership between the venue and its primary sponsor, O2.
Priority presale tickets for O2 and Virgin Media broadband customers will be available via the Priority app from 10:00 AM BST on Wednesday 26 August 2026. General ticket sales will open at 10:00 AM BST on Friday 28 August 2026 via the venue's official website.
