Shed Seven have shared the official music video for their brand-new single, 'Stand Together', offering fans an exciting taste of their highly anticipated upcoming studio album. The sky-scraping anthem serves as a powerful statement of intent from the alternative rock staples, combining the band's signature melodic energy with a message of global unity. Lead singer Rick Witter described the track as a call to arms and a rallying cry for solidarity in the modern world. The release follows a massive, instantly sold-out acoustic performance at London’s iconic 100 Club, which was compered by radio legend Steve Lamacq to commemorate the announcement of the new record.
The self-titled album, Shed Seven, is scheduled for release on 8 January 2027 through Cooking Vinyl, and it marks another ambitious milestone in the band's enduring career. This upcoming project follows an incredibly successful period of resurgence for the group. In 2024, they made UK chart history by securing their first-ever Number 1 album with A Matter Of Time, only to follow it just ten months later with a second consecutive chart-topper, Liquid Gold. This rare feat placed them in an elite category alongside legendary artists like The Beatles, David Bowie, and Elton John, who also achieved two UK Number 1 studio albums within a single calendar year.
Following a critically acclaimed, triumphant performance at the Glastonbury Festival in 2025 and winning the fan-voted Best Live Act at the Independent Music Awards, the band is preparing to take their celebrated live show back on the road.
This winter, they will embark on their massive "Shedcember X 2026" UK headline tour. The extensive winter run kicks off this November at Nottingham Rock City and will travel across major venues throughout the UK, including the O2 Academy Glasgow, Manchester O2 Apollo, and London's O2 Brixton Academy, before wrapping up with a double-header at the Leeds O2 Academy in mid-December. Tickets are already selling exceptionally fast, with numerous dates across the country completely sold out.
