Beck has officially confirmed the release of his highly anticipated new studio album, Ride Lonesome, scheduled to arrive on September 18 via Capitol Records. The announcement of the legendary artist's first collection of all-new material since the Grammy-winning Hyperspace comes alongside the release of a brand-new single and cinematic video titled "In The Night."

The album marks a highly anticipated reunion, bringing together the musicians from Beck’s original touring and recording band who performed on milestone records like Sea Change, Morning Phase, and Mutations. Bandmates Smokey Hormel, Joey Waronker, Justin Meldal-Johnsen, Roger Joseph Manning Jr., and Jason Falkner joined Beck at United Studios in Hollywood to record the new material. Longtime collaborator Nigel Godrich, who worked on both Mutations and Sea Change, returned to mix the entire project.

According to Beck, recording together for the first time in a decade felt like a natural evolution of a collaborative chemistry built over decades. While the sessions revisited a familiar physical and musical space, the process also unlocked entirely new sounds and emotional textures. The resulting twelve-track album navigates beautiful and haunting sonic landscapes that act as a spiritual successor to his 2015 Album of the Year, Morning Phase.

The new single, "In The Night," showcases this rich direction as a subdued, atmospheric ode to nocturnal reflections. The song is accompanied by a lush, cinematic music video directed by Mikai Karl and starring acclaimed actor Denis Lavant.
To support the release, Beck will embark on a comprehensive North American headline tour beginning on September 16 at Vancouver's Queen Elizabeth Theatre. The extensive autumn run will see him perform at legendary venues across the continent, including the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles, Red Rocks Amphitheatre, and Massey Hall in Toronto, before wrapping up the tour on October 31 at The Truth in Nashville.
