JACOB ALON has officially announced details of a brand new double live album, Live From The Roundhouse, which is scheduled for digital release later this summer on 14 August. The highly anticipated collection captures the Scottish folk musician’s stunning, completely sold-out performance at London's iconic Roundhouse venue back in April. In addition to the digital launch, the record will receive a limited-edition double vinyl release on 28 August, alongside an online broadcast of the full concert beautifully captured on 16mm film by director Peter Eason Daniels.
To mark the announcement, the Fife-born artist has shared an emotional live cover of Nirvana’s classic track "All Apologies," which is available to stream across all major platforms immediately. The triumphant London concert capped a whirlwind year of professional accolades for the singular songwriter, following the critical acclaim of their debut studio album, In Limerence. Over the past several months, Alon has collected two prestigious Ivor Novello Awards, the BRITs Critics’ Choice award, and the BBC Introducing Artist of the Year title, while also securing nominations for both the Mercury Prize and the Scottish Album of the Year.
The upcoming 13-track live album showcases Alon's signature musical restraint and devastating vocal delivery, reinterpreting debut material alongside choice covers. Physical pre-orders for the double vinyl package are now live, with each copy containing a signed print and an authentic, unique strip of 16mm film cut directly from the Roundhouse performance reels.
The live release arrives amidst a packed summer touring schedule for the breakthrough musician. Alon is currently wrapping up a high-profile series of major outdoor stadium support dates alongside Lewis Capaldi, which includes consecutive appearances at BST Hyde Park in London. Following a rigorous run of European summer festival appearances—including slots at Latitude and Boardmasters—and a special Edinburgh show supporting Florence & The Machine, the artist will embark on their debut headline tour of North America this October, stopping in major cities including Los Angeles, San Francisco, Chicago, and New York.
