BOSTON MANOR have officially shared a stripped-back, acoustic version of their beloved track "Drowned In Gold." The new arrangement is taken from the band's upcoming reissue collection, Be Nothing. 10 Year Anniversary Edition, which is set for global release on 14 August via Pure Noise Records.
Originally released in 2016 and produced by Neil Kennedy, the band's seminal debut album Be Nothing. quickly established itself as a critical and fan favorite, lauded for its seamless blend of alternative rock textures and emotionally charged songwriting. The record effectively laid down the artistic blueprint that transformed the Blackpool-based outfit into the borderless, highly innovative contemporary rock band they are today. On the newly expanded ten-year celebratory collection, several original tracks have been given intimate acoustic reworkings, including the hit singles "Laika" and "Lead Feet."
Reflecting on the legacy of the project, bassist Dan Cunniff explained that writing the record was an incredibly pivotal era for the group. "By the time the opportunity came round, I felt like we were all hyper-focused on what we wanted to achieve and also keeping in mind what this record would sound like in 10 years from that point," Cunniff shared. "It opened up so many doors, especially in the touring world. Having the opportunity to travel all around the world because of one record is pretty insane... Be Nothing. gave us the confidence that we can be a 'real' band after all."
To celebrate the milestone anniversary, the rock outfit will perform the landmark debut album in full for the first time during an extensive international tour across the UK, United States, Germany, and Canada. The massive live itinerary includes high-profile appearances at the Warped Tour festivals, alongside a rigorous run of headline venue dates throughout November and December. Tickets are selling rapidly, with multiple consecutive headline shows already completely sold out at Gorilla in Manchester and The Garage in London. The anniversary album will be made available across digital platforms, standard CD, and a variety of specialized vinyl variants.
