South Carolina-born singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist Hannah Wicklund has announced the release of her highly anticipated fourth studio album, War On Women; Calling All Good Men, out on August 28th, 2026, via Strawberry Moon Records. The 13-song collection serves as a powerful call to arms, marking Wicklund's first release since reclaiming her independence from an industry that previously attempted to compromise her career and creative rights.

Written, recorded, and self-produced on a modest budget funded entirely by her personal paintings and artwork, the album represents a fierce musical journey through rock, soul, blues, folk, and gospel. The record features standout tracks like the bluesy hip-shaker "Evil Is A Corporation," the ferocious "Whistle To Blow," and the raw, live-recorded guitar anthem "Cowards & Kings." Recorded alongside engineer and drummer Devin Vaughan in Charleston, the album documents Wicklund's path through personal heartbreak, industry betrayal, and eventual artistic triumph.

The record bookends itself with two thematic, acapella pieces: the opening call to action "War On Women"—originally started in 2016 and finished following recent cultural shifts—and the hopeful closing title track, "Calling All Good Men." Wicklund is implementing a highly unique, ritualistic release strategy designed to prioritize physical media. While the full CD and vinyl arrive in late August, individual tracks will be released to streaming platforms on the occurrence of each full moon over the course of a year, beginning with the immediate release of the title track.

In tandem with the music, Wicklund is launching The Strawberry Moon Tribune, an independent arts and culture magazine where she serves as Editor-in-Chief. Scheduled to release digital and physical editions globally on each new moon, the interactive publication gathers contributions from fellow musicians, astrologers, and healers to encourage community reflection.

Wicklund will support the launch with an extensive world tour running through 2027. The live dates kick off this October with the "Red Gorilla" headline tour of the UK, making stops in major cities including Birmingham, Liverpool, and London. Tickets are on sale now.
