British Iranian singer, songwriter, and producer TALA has officially announced the upcoming release of her highly anticipated new studio album, 11, scheduled to arrive on July 11, 2026. Ahead of the full album launch, the acclaimed electronic artist has unveiled her latest single, "11-11 (We Are)," which is now available across all major global streaming platforms.
Co-written alongside long-time collaborator Jazz Alonso, the new track serves as an empowering sonic exploration of internal strength and human connection. The song's creative inception occurred during an all-night recording session in London, directly inspired by the surrealist, psychedelic imagery of filmmaker Alejandro Jodorowsky. "The idea was that we are all children, we all come here alone and leave here alone," TALA explained. "Our deep conversations always seem to make it into the songs we’ve ever made together."
Born to an Iranian father and an English mother, TALA is recognized for her seamless fusion of traditional Iranian musical elements with modern UK underground electronic and R&B scenes. Her upcoming album explores the core concept of universal duality and the constant need for juxtaposition to achieve life balance. The new record follows the success of her recent singles "Ghosts" and "I Need It," which garnered significant critical acclaim from international tastemakers including COLORS and Headliner Magazine.
In addition to her solo artistry, TALA remains a prominent advocate for empowering female producers and women working within music technology. Her extensive industry credentials include executively producing American alt-pop singer BANKS’ fourth studio album Serpentina, as well as collaborating on British rapper Enny's Champagne Problems. She also recently participated in the British Council's prestigious digital residency program, collaborating with contemporary musical artists from Indonesia. The upcoming full-length project marks the latest evolutionary milestone for the producer, who first broke into the British music landscape with her self-produced debut EP The Duchess.
