Swedish pop powerhouses Roxette have officially announced a major North American tour for this autumn, celebrating four decades of global chart-topping success. The 14-city anniversary tour, produced by Live Nation, will mark 40 years since the release of the duo's debut album, honoring a legacy that includes over 80 million records sold worldwide and four number-one hits on the US Billboard charts.

The extensive tour is scheduled to kick off on Thursday, 10 September at the Pine Knob Music Theatre in Clarkston, Michigan. The band will travel across the continent with high-profile stops in Toronto, Montreal, Philadelphia, Dallas, Phoenix, and Los Angeles, before concluding the anniversary run on Friday, 9 October at the White River Amphitheatre in Auburn, Washington.

When the band performed what was expected to be their final concert series in 2016, few anticipated their music would return to the stage in this manner. Following the tragic passing of original vocalist Marie Fredriksson, songwriter and co-founder Per Gessle has chosen to reignite the band's catalog for a new era. For this celebratory run, Gessle will be joined on stage by Lena Philipsson, one of Sweden's most accomplished and dynamic pop vocalists. The upcoming live sets will feature timeless hits like "The Look," "Listen to Your Heart," "Joyride," and "It Must Have Been Love," the latter of which recently crossed the milestone of one billion streams on Spotify.

The touring lineup will feature a diverse selection of notable opening talent, with pop icon Taylor Dayne and rock legends Nick Lowe & Los Straitjackets confirmed as special guests for the autumn dates.

Various presale options are scheduled to launch ahead of the public ticket release, beginning with exclusive artist and credit card member pre-sales on Wednesday, 27 May. Subsequent digital pre-sales through streaming platforms and local promoters will take place throughout the week. General public ticket sales will officially open on Friday, 29 May through major digital ticketing outlets.
