Now in its nineteenth year, the British Music Embassy has long been established as a legendary mainstay at SXSW in Austin, Texas, where it has served as a launchpad for over 700 iconic UK acts since 2008, including Sam Fender and Little Simz. The London showcase operates as a massive industry collaboration between the Department for Business and Trade, PPL, PRS for Music, the BPI, the British Council, UK Music, the PRS Foundation, and the Northern Music Export Office.

Beyond the evening performances, Tuesday will also mark the official launch of the Northern Music Export Office at the British Music Embassy. Hosted by BBC Radio 1’s Maia Beth, a dedicated panel featuring Generator and four Northern Mayors will explore how regional collaboration and cultural investment are successfully reshaping the future of the UK music industry outside of the capital.

Music industry leaders have widely praised the return of the showcase, emphasizing that live opportunities are vital for breaking new talent and driving the UK's multi-billion-pound music export economy. With world-class stage production delivered by Production Park, the British Music Embassy at UK House is set to remain a premier destination for cultural exchange, creative networking, and global talent discovery.
