Grammy-winning rock trio Muse has released the official music video for their latest single, "Cryogen," further expanding the science-fiction narrative of their upcoming project. Directed by Elliott Gonzo, who has previously collaborated with icons like The Rolling Stones and Fatboy Slim, the immersive visual deepens the interstellar mythos surrounding the band’s tenth studio album.

The video is set on Jupiter’s frozen moon, Europa, providing a stark backdrop for the explosive single. The members of Muse are seen performing at the base of a blood-red waterfall, their limbs coated in ice as they navigate a desolate polar desert. Frontman Matt Bellamy leads the search for a mysterious craft—a ring-like vessel previously teased in the "Be With You" video—which eventually emerges from a subterranean sea. The visual concludes on a cliffhanger as a piercing beam of light descends, leaving viewers to wonder if it signals the dawn of a new era or impending doom.

"Cryogen" is the fourth track on the band's highly anticipated tenth album, The Wow! Signal, which is scheduled to arrive on June 26 via Warner Records. The album is currently available for pre-order and pre-save. The full tracklist for The Wow! Signal includes:

The Dark Forest
Nightshift Superstar
Shimmering Scars
Cryogen
Be With You
Hexagons
The Sickness In You & I
Unravelling
Hush
Space Debris

Following the album's release, Muse will launch a North American tour in July to bring their new material to life on stage. Known for their high-concept performances and cinematic soundscapes, the band continues to push creative boundaries with this latest chapter. Fans can watch the "Cryogen" music video now to catch a glimpse of the atmospheric world the band has built for 2026.
