Three-time GRAMMY winner Tori Kelly has officially announced her sixth studio album, God Must Really Love Me, scheduled for release on June 12 via Epic Records. This upcoming project is described as her most intimate work to date, offering a textured meditation on identity, love, and the pursuit of inner peace. To introduce the new era, Kelly will release two singles, “Control” and “Dive,” this Friday, May 8.

The creative process for the album was deeply influenced by a surge of inspiration following the birth of her first child. While Kelly initially worried that motherhood might stifle her desire to write, she found that new songs emerged with unprecedented urgency, often recording voice memos while nursing her son. This shift led her to move away from overthinking and instead embrace a more vulnerable, specific lyrical style. Kelly noted that she challenged herself to peel back layers and "completely let go" of past restraints.

Musically, God Must Really Love Me is a radiant fusion of R&B, soul, acoustic pop, and gospel. While Kelly crafted the majority of the songs in solitude, she collaborated with high-profile producers and co-writers including DIXSON, Nija Charles, and Emily Warren to bring the vision to life. Much of the record was developed in Los Angeles alongside Tommy King and Dan Farber, though several tracks were conceived during her 2025 European tour with Ed Sheeran.

To support the release, Kelly will hit the road this summer as part of The Jesus Generation Tour alongside Forrest Frank. The massive 29-show arena tour kicks off on June 1 in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and will visit iconic venues including Madison Square Garden in New York City and the Intuit Dome in Los Angeles. The tour is set to conclude on August 1 at Globe Life Field in Dallas, Texas. Fans can currently pre-order the album through Epic Records.
