Acclaimed musician and actor Kiefer Sutherland has released his latest single, “Goodbye California,” a nostalgic anthem that serves as a focal point for his upcoming fourth studio album. The new record, titled ‘Grey’, is set for global release on May 29, 2026, via Maple Creek Records.

“Goodbye California” finds Sutherland reflecting on his journey in the entertainment capital of the world. He describes the track as "a fond farewell to a place that made a young man’s dreams come true." Written by Sutherland and produced by the legendary Ethan Johns (known for his work with Kings of Leon and Laura Marling), the song blends heartland rock sensibilities with the raw, storytelling grit that has defined Sutherland’s musical career.

The upcoming album Grey follows the recent success of the single "Simpler Times," further establishing Sutherland as a formidable voice in the Americana and country-rock scenes. Beyond the collaboration with Ethan Johns, the album features production credits from Rocco DeLuca and Mark Neill, promising a rich, sonic landscape. The album will be available in both CD and vinyl formats, with pre-orders currently open.

To support the launch of Grey, Sutherland is currently in the midst of a sprawling international headline tour. Having already kicked off dates in Europe—including stops in Copenhagen, Berlin, and Paris—the tour moves to the United Kingdom in May. A highly anticipated highlight of the UK leg is a performance at London’s Union Chapel on May 12, followed by dates in Glasgow, Manchester, and Dublin.

Following the European and UK run, Sutherland will head across North America in June, visiting major cities including Boston, Nashville, and Los Angeles. He is also scheduled to appear at the Festival Les Grands Crus Musicaux in Saguenay, Canada, on July 11.

With his distinctive raspy baritone and a band at the top of their game, Sutherland’s live shows continue to receive acclaim for their intimacy and energy. Remaining tickets for the tour are available via his official website.
